Well crap. I haven't uploaded much to my youtube channel since last February. Oopse. And in that time it seems youtube has discontinued and removed it's video editor. The one I was using on my pc, is no longer supported by windows and it's acting funny.

Can any one recommend a free video editing software that can be used on windows 7?  I don't need anything super fancy, just something that can speed up the video and glue clips together.

Thanks!

Depending on how exactly your current program is "acting funny", there may be a workaround (or even an update) that will get it working properly again.

That's often the first thing to try: Check the web site of your program (if applicable) and see if it's been updated.

Also, some versions of Windows have "compatibility modes", in which Windows will attempt to simulate the environments of older Windows versions to hopefully resolve some kinds of common compatibility issues. (I've had to use this feature a few times.) If your program worked fine with an older Windows (like XP, which I still use) and started acting up when you upgraded to 7, this might be worth looking into.
